Young Motorcyclist Dies in Crash with CM Maryam Nawaz’s Protocol Vehicle

NAROWAL: A tragic incident unfolded in Narowal district on Thursday as a young motorcyclist lost his life in a collision involving a vehicle from the Punjab Elite Police, which forms part of the security detail for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.According to the district police officer (DPO), the Elite Police vehicles were on their way to Kartarpur to ensure CM Maryam’s security during her visit to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib. She was scheduled to address a gathering of pilgrims on the occasion of the Baisakhi Mela.The DPO explained that the collision occurred when a vehicle from the elite security squad attempted to overtake the motorbike. An FIR has been registered on behalf of the victim’s family, and the police have assured that thorough legal proceedings will follow the investigation to hold those responsible accountable.The case was lodged by the victim’s cousin at the Saddar police station, expressing the family’s demand for justice over the tragic loss.
