ڈی آئی خان: سیشن جج وزیرستان شاکر اللہ مروت کو نامعلوم مسلح افراد اغوا کر کے اپنے ساتھ لے گئے۔ خیبر پختونخوا پولیس کے مطابق سیشن جج شاکر اللہ مروت کو ٹانک اور ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان کے سنگم پر واقع گرہ محبت اڈہ کے مقام سے اغوا کیا گیا۔ میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق نامعلوم مسلح افراد نے سیشن جج کی گاڑی کو نذر آتش کیا اور ان کے گین مین اور ڈرائیور کو چھوڑ دیا۔ پولیس نے معاملے کا علم ہونے پر سرچ آپریشن شروع کر دیا۔ ادھر، وزیر اعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا علی امین گنڈاپور نے واقعے کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے آئی جی کو مبینہ مغوی جج کی بحفاظت بازیابی کیلیے اقدامات کی ہدایت کر دی۔ علی امین گنڈاپور نے کہا کہ جج کو بازیاب کروانے کیلیے ہنگامی بنیادوں پر اقدامات کیے جائیں اور تمام دستیاب وسائل بروئے کار لائے جائیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جج کا مبینہ اغوا انتہائی قابل مذمت اور افسوسناک واقعہ ہے، اس میں ملوث عناصر قانون کی گرفت سے بچ نہیں سکتے۔ رہنما پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی فیصل کریم کنڈی نے اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ ٹانک کے قریب سیشن جج وزیرستان کا اغوا ہونا انتہائی تشویشناک ہے، علی امین گنڈاپور بتائیں قیام امن میں کیوں […]

Punjab CM Maryam attends police passing out parade in uniform
Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz attended a police passing out parade in Lahore on Thursday, donning a police uniform. Maryam Nawaz was given a guard of honour and also distributed prizes among the top performers from the Police Training College. The chief guest of the ceremony inspected the parade. Addressing the ceremony, the Punjab CM said her government wants to increase the number of female cops in the police department.”I realized how much of a big responsibility it is after wearing the police uniform.” She lauded the women in uniform and hoped they would serve the masses. Maryam Nawaz underlining the importance of the rule of law, said societies cannot prosper without the implementation of law and order. The Punjab chief minister was accompanied by IG Punjab Usman Anwar in the ceremony.

Karachi boy kills friend for ‘eating’ his girlfriend’s burger
KARACHI: In a bizarre incident, a boy in Karachi killed his friend for consuming a burger, supposedly ordered for former’s girlfriend, The police authorities have completed the investigation of the murder, which occurred on Feb 8 in Defence Phase 5, According to the report, the dispute arose when the victim – identified as Ali Keerio, son of a sessions judge – consumed the burger meant for suspect’s girlfriend. Suspect, Daniyal, is son of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nazir Ahmed Mirbahar. The investigation revealed that Daniyal invited his girlfriend, Shazia, to his house on the day of the murder. His friend, Ali Keerio, and his brother, Ahmer, were also at the house. The suspect ordered two burgers for himself and Shazia to eat. However, Ali Keerio allegedly ate half of a burger sending Danial into a rage. The altercation turned deadly, as the suspect grabbed a guard’s rifle and fired at Ali Keerio, severely injuring him. Ali succumbed to his bullet wounds in the hospital. The investigative officer has completed the inquiry and submitted the report to senior officials, declaring the police officer’s son guilty of the crime. Web Desk NAROWAL: A tragic incident unfolded in Narowal district on Thursday as a young motorcyclist lost his life in a collision involving a vehicle from the Punjab Elite Police, which forms part of the security detail for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.According to the district police officer (DPO), the Elite Police vehicles were on their way to Kartarpur to ensure CM Maryam’s security during her visit to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib. Kidnappers demand Rs10 million ransom from officer’s family By:Web Desk ISLAMABAD:A Grade 18 officer of the Inland Revenue Service of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has been abducted from Rawalpindi. Kidnappers have abducted grade 18 officer, Rehmatullah Khan and are holding him for ransom. The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of Rs10 million from the FBR officer’s family. An FIR has been registered for the kidnapping of FBR officer. The FIR has been filed by Muhammad Shafiq, the brother-in-law of the abductee. According to the FIR, Inland Revenue Service Grade 18 officer Rehmatullah Khan is posted at the FBR headquarters. He was abducted by unknown persons at 11:30am on April 12. Khan had left the house saying that he was going to congratulate his friends on Eid but failed to return. Despite his family’s attempts to locate him, he could not be traced.
