Govt decides to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said.

He further said that the PML-N leadership was in jail, but Shahbaz Sharif stood in the House and talked about the Charter of Economy. “We were taught to share the joys and sorrows of our opponents, but this moral standard of ours was considered weakness,” he added.Attaullah Tarar said that some pictures have recently emerged from London in which Zain Qureshi and others are sitting with Israeli people. “Enough is enough, now we will answer.”He said that in the case of reserved seats, PTI was given the relief which was not sought. “The federal government will file a review appeal against this decision.”The information minister further said the PTI received foreign funding, and there is evidence regarding it. “They did not hold intra-party elections and received funding from India and Israel,” he alleged.Referring to the attacks on the military installations on May 9, he said the entire PTI was involved in it. “Your [Imran Khan’s] three sisters were outside the Corps Commander’s house and your nephew was desecrating the military uniform.”Tarar also alleged Imran Khan brought the Taliban back, gave them shelter in the country and then attacked the state. “Now we have come to the conclusion that PTI should be banned as a political party,” he declared.He said the federal government will file a case in the Supreme Court to ban PTI. “We have all the evidence that PTI has taken steps against the state,” he claimed
